A blizzard. A stranded jet. Christmas Eve turns deadly.

When ruthless attackers seize a snowbound airport, Rhett Mercer and Wrenlee Calder must fight back from inside the terminal itself—where every move is a gamble, and every mistake could cost lives.

Rhett Mercer only wanted to get home for Christmas. Instead, he’s stranded in a snowbound airport—just as a ruthless terrorist cell storms in. The mastermind isn’t after money or headlines. He’s carrying something far more dangerous—and he’s willing to burn everything to escape with it.

With law enforcement cut off by weather and chaos, Rhett faces an impossible choice: hide and survive—or stand and fight.

Teaming up with Wrenlee Calder—a sharp-witted woman he met only hours earlier—Rhett launches a desperate counterattack from inside the terminal itself. With hostages scattered, power cut, and enemies closing in, every move is a gamble—and every mistake could cost lives.

From silent corridors and brutal close-quarters fights to a heart-pounding chase across a frozen runway, the night spirals toward a final confrontation where courage, sacrifice, and faith collide.

Because the deadliest battles aren’t fought with backup—
They’re fought with resolve.

Silent Night Siege is a clean, high-stakes Christmas thriller packed with:

  • Relentless suspense and explosive action
  • A slow‑burn romance forged in fire and snow
  • Themes of faith, redemption, and resilience
  • A holiday setting where tradition becomes survival

Perfect for fans of Die Hard-style thrillers, holiday suspense, and stories that deliver adrenaline without sacrificing heart.

Excellent writing, the plot keeps moving, and the last chapters of the book take an interesting turn

The flight from Minot to Denver is cancelled because of a snow storm. All the hotels in Minot are full because of the storm, so it turns into Christmas Eve at the airport. What happens next . . . well, you'll have to read the book. The power goes off in the terminal and the rest of the airport because of the storm. Or is it the storm that caused the power to go out, or something far more sinister? Two strangers meet on the flight to Minot, and work together during the siege. Start reading earlier in the day; don't make the mistake I made--starting a little before bedtime. Then you will likely stay up until you are finished with the book. I couldn't set the book down; I had to know how the events would work out, or not work out. I've read thousands of books, and I seldom give 5 stars. But this one earned it. The writing is excellent, the plot keeps the reader's full attention. And after the initial action is complete, and there are only a few chapters left, you will want to keep reading. The best is still ahead. Well, I need to get some sleep--it's 2 AM on Christmas Eve morning! I heartily recommend "Silent Night Siege." You will enjoy this book too.
