When a cynical movie star and a faithful flight attendant survive a plane crash on a remote island, survival is just the beginning. The Island and the Flame is a heartfelt, faith-forward story of slow-burn romance, spiritual awakening, and love that endures beyond the spotlight.

They survived the crash. But could they survive each other? They were never supposed to meet. A world-famous actor, burned out and cynical. A young aspiring actress, grounded in faith and grace.

A plane crash on a remote island changed everything. Jaxon Hart had it all—fame, fortune, and a face the tabloids adored. But when a routine flight ends in disaster, he finds himself stranded with the last person he expected: Aubrey Kane, a humble flight attendant with dreams bigger than the big screen and a heart full of hope.

As they fight to survive storms, hunger, and hidden dangers, Jaxon begins to question everything he thought he knew—about God, about himself, and about the woman who's quietly stealing his heart. But what happens when they're rescued? When the lights of Hollywood return and real life creeps back in?

The Island and the Flame is a tender, redemptive story of survival, slow-burn romance, and second chances. For fans of heartfelt Christian fiction and clean contemporary romance with depth, this is a love story that lingers long after the final page.

Paperback, 208 pages.

    I loved it

Beginning to end I could barely set it down. Slow burn romance, Christian faith and principles, adventure, suspense, survival, disappointment, challenges and choices. Several second chances ... Including a heroic rescue. Not only a clear gospel message, but also some hard questions and answers. About topics like evolution and why a loving God allows evil to win among other issues.

One of Charlie Campbell’s best novels I have read. Airplane crashes on an uninhabited jungle island. Worth the read for sure
